Wessex Rebels meet again
The adventurous Wessex Rebels met again at the Northmore Outdoor centre in mid Devon.
The members of the group participated in a mini support group meeting, before exploring the dense forest. They learnt how to make fires using the traditional methods of, witling wood, and flint and steel. They then learnt how to cook bread on sticks, finally ending with toasted marshmallows over their fire.
The group was then split into two teams to build dens in the pine forest. The sounds of heavy labour echoed around the forestry section as the eager rebels beavered away. All their hard work resulted in two unique dens being built.
The Rebels had a fun and tiring day.
